In the ever changing landscape of Hollywood, there are a few things that one can be absolutely certain about. Dwayne Johnson’s banter with comedy legend Kevin Hart is one such. Neither The Rock nor Hart miss an opportunity to make their fans happy by engaging in a friendly ‘feud’ with one another.

With Christmas just around the corner, the ‘Brahma Bull’ couldn’t resist the chance to wish his buddy a Merry Christmas, but he did it in his own inimitable style.

On December 18, Dwayne Johnson posted a video of himself curling Kevin Hart while using the latter as a dumbbell. The ‘workout’ video was captioned “Undefeated. Dwanta” and was accompanied by the “You ain’t getting s**t for Christmas” song, which added to the banter. The Hollywood superstar also tagged Kevin Hart. The Instagram post received over a million likes.

For the unversed, Dwayne Johnson actually didn’t pick Hart up and the video was edited. The original video featured ‘The Rock’ with one of his daughters and was posted on December 12.

However, DJ’s followers had a lot to say about the recent post.

One user suggested that the two need to remake the movie “TWINS”, while another said it was “messed up”.

Kevin Hart himself had a one-word response to Dwayne Johnson. It is seldom that The Ride Along actor falls short of words, and this wasn’t one such occasion. His short, one-word rebuttal was: “a**hole”, coupled with emojis.

Other reactions were:

“I bet you can do that with real Kevin Hart too”

“This is foul!!! Lol”

“The editing maybe shitty but it’s funny”

“the new hart tricep recipe has finally arrived”

The Dwayne Johnson-Kevin Hart pair: Four movies and counting

Hollywood fans first witnessed the Johnson-Hart chemistry in 2016, following the release of Central Intelligence, in which the two played high school buddies.

Not just the movie scenes, the blooper reels also showed that both Hart and Johnson were at ease in each other’s presence. Hart, who measures 5-feet 2.5 inches, complemented the Hercules star’s giant frame.

Meanwhile, even with all the insults and banter hurled at each other, one cannot miss the love and respect both Hart and Johnson have for one another.

Earlier in March, the ‘People’s Champ’ shared a post on Instagram, calling Kevin Hart his “brother for life”. Johnson labeled their friendship as “Just two dudes who work hard and love giving each other shit”. His post also stated that he has Hart’s back always.
