John Cena, the 16-time WWE world champion, once smoothly slipped out of a situation when he could unwantedly be part of a Hollywood controversy. Cena is not only known for being a spectacular wrestler or an amazing actor. He is also popular among fans for his witty answers to controversial questions.
No matter how hard it is, the ‘Cenation Leader’ always finds a way to duct the situation that could lead him into trouble. And, he did the same, a year ago, when he was asked to take a side in Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel’s controversy.
A year ago, John Cena appeared on a show named ‘Pardon My Take’. There, the host asked him about his take on the feud between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel. When the host asked him if he was on Vin’s side in that or if he chooses his pal from the WWE, Cena gave a quite clever answer.

He clearly stated that the situation is not about taking sides, rather it is about understanding the perspectives. He also mentioned that it’s strictly a professional decision if someone wants to go on another way when it comes to working.

While talking to the host, John Cena said, “I don’t think that story is about taking sides, I think that story is about uh hearing everybody’s perspective……..when someone says professionally they want to go in another direction…. if you say anything other than okay it’s their professional opinion to make the choices they want and I think that’s very brave and very honest…. so I think Vin’s perspective has a lot of gravity…… uh and honesty and I think Dwayne’s perspective has a lot of gravity and honesty.”
John also didn’t forget to mention how amazing superstars both Dwayne and Vin are. He said that both have successfully carved their niche in the world of entertainment and that’s the reason everyone around the globe adores them.

Cena further continued, “These are both two amazingly successful superstars people who have crafted their own existence and are just globally adored…and….. uh you know Vin’s been the father of the fast franchise, he’s coming in on his tenth instalment. Dwayne has taken ….uh started as the most electrifying sports entertainer in the history of sports entertainment and is…. he’s now in his own universe…. uh so I guess it’s just about understanding where each guy is coming from……that’s all.”
The feud between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel
The controversy started when Dwayne Johnson firmly denied Vin Diesel’s proposal to once again join the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise. He even accused Vin of being manipulative. No one knows what has happened behind the camera that Dwayne doesn’t want to be part of one of the most successful franchises anymore.

Dwayne and Vin both are among the most popular Hollywood stars and the feud did bring some negative limelight to them. However, John Cena saved himself from this by using his presence of mind and amazing interview skills.
