There’s been a giant twist in the tale as the works of hundreds of fans may just have got to waste. A shocking truth was revealed recently about the members of the faction Retribution. This is likely to dash a lot of fans’ hopes.
It has been understood now that the members who have played their role as part of Retribution will not be the same members that will finally unmask themselves sometime in the near future.

This means that if you thought you saw a guy that looked like CM Punk or had the physique of Roman Reigns, you are definitely going to be disappointed.
A lot of my speculations and hopes have also been dashed by this news. A lot of names such as Mickie James, Kalisto, Dominik Dijakovic, Dio Maddin, Chelsea Green, and Vanessa Borne were thought to be members of Retribution.
Retribution members may not even be from WWE
Shockingly enough, some new information revealed that the members of Retribution that we have seen so far may not even be from the WWE rosters.
According to Wrestling Inc, the WXW promotion sent seven wrestlers to Monday Night Raw last week as extras in the show. They could easily have been part of Retribution.

Dave Meltzer identified one of the Retribution members as Mia Yim, but that won’t count now. Every hope we had and all the research fans did have been for naught.
The masked figures and lack of identity make the faction flexible. WWE can interchange the characters at any time. This could also be what the storyline is aiming for; Retribution may be bigger than we think.

The wild goose chase to find the identity of the stable members may prove to be fruitless after all. WWE has been playing fast and loose with the faction. All we can do now is hope that there’s something big hiding under those masks.
