The Undertaker Reveals the Iconic Move He Used to Bury Souls is Not His Original Creation

The Undertaker has presented the WWE Universe with some of the iconic moves. One such move is where he walks on the top rope before burying his rival. However, this move isn’t something he came up with in WWE.
During his conversation on the True Georgie Podcast, The Undertaker revealed that he adopted this move from Don Jardine after he retired from pro-wrestling.
“I borrowed that from Don Jardine who, he wrestled under the name of ‘The Spoiler’. I wrestled him very early on in my career, when he retired, I said, ‘that’s mine, I’m taking that’. That’s how that came about.”

The move-in question requires ‘The Phenom’ to walk on the top rope while holding his rival’s hand. He twists it before taking a leap and smashing his opponent on the floor.

It was an iconic move to witness considering he is almost 7ft. in height. Watching him walking the rope was as Supernatural as it can get!
The Undertaker will soon be in the WWE Hall of Fame
WWE has announced that The Phenom will be one of the few who will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Apart from Taker, Vader and Queen Sharmell will be a part of the Class of 2022 as well.

Interestingly, Vince McMahon will be the one to induct him into the Hall of Fame. Usually, The Big Man stays away from any form of recognition in the Hall of Fame, including Hall of Fame speeches.

However, he made an exception for Stone Cold Steve Austin years ago and he is doing it a second time for The Phenom. He revealed that Taker is like family to him and he would love to do the honor, considering the sacrifices Taker made for WWE.
It’s possible this is the last time Vince McMahon will induct anyone in the WWE Hall of Fame. He made an exception for the two men who are credited with being monumental figures for the advancement of WWE and pro-wrestling.
