In an intense sequence of events, Jey Uso got his match with Roman Reigns and got him to agree to Tribal Combat at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal Championship as well as the honor of being the Tribal Chief. But before that, Reigns took out Jimmy Uso, making Jey Uso’s camp barren while Reigns has Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman at his side.

But being on Reigns’ side, Jey Uso knows how to counter them and will look tackle them. Being the only man to have pinned Reigns in the ring after 3 years, Jey Uso has a big chance to win his first world title. But if unbeknownst to anyone, his brother, Jimmy Uso pops up and betrays Jey Uso in an unexpected twist, it would set up a feud that would be remembered by fans for years.

But you must be wondering why are we introducing an idea like Jimmy Uso turning on his brother when a few months he was the one to superkick Reigns in the first place. Well, here are three reasons that support our theory.

1. The Usos wish to main event WrestleMania once in their careers

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, The Usos revealed that they have a wish to main event at WrestleMania, against each other, what is a better time to start that feud than right now, when The Usos are at their peak when it comes to popularity? Fans are interested and the management’s behind them.

This is the perfect time for the two to become singles stars and there’s no better way to do that than fighting each other. Given the experience and skills both of them possess, this feud has the potential to catapult them both into main event status and The Usos might just steal the limelight from everyone this year.

2. Roman Reigns might take a break after more than 1,000 days as champion

There are heavy rumors that Reigns is taking a break from WWE for a while now. In addition to these rumors, there are also reports that show that Reigns isn’t advertised for the upcoming three WWE PLEs, Payback, Fastlane, and Survivor Series. This could mean that he might be losing the title this Saturday, but it could also mean that a big twist is on the horizon.

With Jimmy Uso turning on his brother, this gives The Bloodline story much-needed fuel, so that Reigns could take his break, while not letting the storyline die down. Seeing as The Bloodline is WWE’s most profitable story on TV right now, it is hard to see Triple H stopping to add chapters to this saga.

3. Jey Uso sidelining Jimmy Uso every time

The biggest personal reason for Jimmy Uso to stab his brother in the back would surely be the limelight. Ever since Jimmy Uso got injured and Jey Uso was the only one showing up in WWE, Jey Uso has grabbed the audience. ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso is a term that even WWE has embraced fully this past year.

Seeing his brother do everything he isn’t able to do is one of the oldest wrestling cliches. So there’s a chance that Triple H will capitalize on this sibling rivalry angle come this SummerSlam. This could also act as the platform that Jimmy Uso needs to launch himself off, just like his brother, to the main event spot.

Even though Jimmy Uso was the one who betrayed Reigns first, it was Jey Uso that the fans hailed as the one to take the title. This builds up another layer of tension in Jimmy Uso that he doesn’t get the love that he should from the fans. There are many layers to this story and if WWE cashes on it, fans could be in for another fun chapter in The Bloodline story.
