WWE fans had an idea of the monster that was Brock Lesnar in the wrestling ring. But what no one could imagine was how much he would dominate MMA when he first left. His presence in the UFC legitimized his fighting skills on a grander scale. When he came back to WWE, even though WWE was in its PG era, blood was seen a lot of times in his matches.

His match with Randy Orton had to be stopped mid-way when Lesnar wouldn’t stop hitting his elbows on a bleeding Orton. So what does the greatest UFC commentator, Joe Rogan, have to say about the Beast Incarnate?

Joe Rogan talks about the rise of Brock Lesnar in the UFC

While talking about Brock Lesnar‘s presence in the UFC, Joe Rogan told Bill Simmons, “His bone structure is just straight Viking. He’s just not a normal human. I mean, his head is way too big, his body’s way too big, and his hands are big. He said I was cutting weight to get down to the 265 lb weight limit. He’s an enormous human being, and he’s skillful.

He continued, “I mean, the advantages he has like the horsepower advantages over the average person, are so substantial that he is a real threat. Even today, at 37, that guy is different than CM Punk. Cm Punk you look is a very reasonable-looking athlete. Looks like the guy is fit, looks like the guy works out. If he’s mentally tough and he’s intelligent and prepares at a really good camp, who knows he could have some success.

As Rogan says before this, Lesnar won the UFC World Champion in just his 4th MMA match. He also defended the belt multiple times before losing it to Cain Velasquez. Even to this day, while he is not associated with the company, people talk about defeating Lesnar inside the Octagon as if he was the ultimate boss of a video game.
