Ronda Rousey is one of the most tenacious wrestlers currently performing in the squared circle. Fans worldwide admire the Baddest Woman on the Planet for her perseverance and never-give-up attitude. It is these very traits that keep Rousey up and gritty even in the face of the most horrifying adversities. Rousey showed off her toughness even when fighting UFC legends like Luke Rockhold.
Rockhold is a former UFC Middleweight Champion and prodigy of the American Kickboxing Academy. He retired from the UFC after a gruelling and bloody showdown with the Brazilian Paulo Costa at UFC 278. Rockhold is no meek guy; before joining the UFC, he was an undefeated athlete at Strikeforce.

Ronda Rousey puts Luke in a ‘Rock-hold’
In a clip caught by BJPENN.COM’s Layzie The Savage, Rousey can be seen showing her signature armbar hold on Rockhold. Although it’s just a training video, it’s clear for fans that Rousey put quite the number on Rockhold. The Armbar is Rousey’s most famous move – and for a reason. As Rousey herself described it, the armbar is a move where you keep applying pressure on the elbow joint until it dislocates entirely.

Fans unanimously agree that the armbar is as painful as it sounds. It is no mere submission move; it actually causes serious damage. As can be seen from the training video, Rockhold struggles to ensure that his arm does not dislocate. Shockingly, even Rousey is seen to have trouble keeping Rockhold down, as her face turns red. Eventually, though, Rockhold submits, and Rousey perseveres yet again.

For all her perseverence and grit, this has not been ‘Rowdy’ Rousey’s month. Not only did she get fined and indefinitely suspended from the WWE following her actions at SummerSlam. An irate Rousey attacked a WWE official following her match with Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s Championship.
After her suspension, Rousey made a dazzling comeback by crashing the SmackDown next week before Morgan signed her contract with Shayna Baszler. However, Rousey was detained by SmackDown’s security detail for breaking the terms of her suspension. Morgan and Baszler will battle it out at Clash at the Castle on September 3 to see who is more deserving of the WWE Women’s Champion Title.
