WATCH: Cody Rhodes Performs Gender Reveal for Fan Inside the Ring Following WWE Raw 2/26

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes closed tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW with an all-out brawl and a big statement for his enemies, The Bloodline. However, when RAW went off the air, the American Nightmare regained his composure and took the request of a fan in attendance as he made a wholesome gesture.

What was the gesture? Well, it was something that was one of the biggest moments in a person’s life. As Rhodes did a gender reveal.

After Paul Heyman, left the ring, Rhodes remained inside the squared circle to address the San Jose crowd attending tonight’s edition of WWE’s flagship show. It was when Cody Rhodes received an envelope from a fan. And that envelope had the gender of their unborn child written inside it. Giving ‘The American Nightmare’ a chance, they asked him to disclose the baby’s gender because they hadn’t yet opened the envelope. And it was then that Cody Rhodes was seen revealing the sex of the baby in front of the WWE Universe who had come to watch RAW. Rhodes stated that they were going to welcome a baby boy into their lives. He said, “Gender reveal time … San Jose, I need a drum roll please …. it’s a boy.”

This gesture fits really well with him crowning himself as the new ‘People’s Champion’. Unlike Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson who according to the American Nightmare can barely take out time for the WWE Universe, or cares about what they want.

As mentioned, before RAW went off the air, Cody Rhodes wrestled Grayson Waller in the show’s main event and emerged victorious. He then found himself confronted by The Bloodline’s Wiseman, Paul Heyman, and a group of NYPD officers. After rejecting Heyman’s plea to Cody to reconsider his decision to challenge The Rock, Rhodes eliminated Heyman’s security guys and warned The Bloodline that he would pursue them.
