After the triumph, Steveson performed his signature backflip for the cheering fans. Talking to ESPN in a post-match interview, he said, “I’m done. I did what I came to do. I was going to win the Olympic gold and win the national tournament again.”

Furthermore, he expressed his interest in becoming a professional wrestler for WWE and attending the stupendous WrestleMania in April. “I hope I gain many WWE fans when I take the next step,” Gable Steveson added.
