The Mysterio family feud churned out exciting segments for the fans both on WWE TV and away from it. WWE has done a good job of building the father-son rivalry between Rey Mysterio and Dominik in an intense manner.

Despite Mysterio’s decision to move to SmackDown to avoid fighting his son, Dominik is looking to make life difficult for his father. His alignment with the Judgement Day faction and, more particularly, Rhea Ripley, has made life difficult for the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Only last month, the heel pair crashed the Mysterio family’s Thanksgiving dinner with Dominik brutalizing his father. They were at it once again on Christmas Eve, but this time, the tables turned.

Hoping to repeat their antics from last month, Dominik and Ripley showed up at the Mysterio family house.

After managing to make their way inside, Rey, accompanied by his wife Angie, was able to get the Judgement Day members outside. As things got heated between them, the Judgment Day members were on the receiving end of a slap and handcuffs.

WWE released a video earlier in which Dominik and Rhea Ripley can be seen walking toward the Mysterios’ house and donning Santa caps.

The two may have hoped to spoil the Christmas fun for Rey Mysterio just as they did on Thanksgiving last month. But this time, Rey Mysterio found some family backup in the form of his wife.

On entering the house and greeting his grandfather, Dominik looked to cause some mischief. But Rey Mysterio and his wife moved him and his partner Ripley to the outside.

True to his heel nature, Dominik tried to provoke his father into hitting him. Dominik then shoved his father after he refused to oblige. Rey’s wife Angie went to slap her son, but Ripley caught her hand.

But with her free hand, she landed a tight slap across the face of the former RAW Women’s Champion. This led to an outburst from Ripley, who had to be restrained by Dominik from going after his mother.

Meanwhile, police arrived on the scene and an upset Rey Mysterio explained the whole situation. After some talking, the police arrested Dominik Mysterio and put him in the car.

While he was being handcuffed, Dominik told the cops Rhea was the one who got hit in the face. As the police put Dominik in the vehicle, he asked Ripley to bail him out and said, “Don’t let them take me. I won’t make it in jail.” After Dominik’s arrest, Rhea Ripley retweeted WWE’s video and wrote “Christmas is cancelled.”

The latest installment of the Mysterio family saga did a nice job driving this really personal story forward. Things between the father-son duo could get more heated up in the next few weeks.

Fans will be excited to find out what will cause Rey Mysterio to finally give in and teach his son a lesson. But before that, Dominik will try to get revenge for this recent humiliation.
