There is a high possibility of the two-time WWE Champion going after Cody Rhodes once he turns heel. McIntyre has been unhappy with The American Nightmare ever since he brought Jey Uso to Raw. The former Bloodline member has cost McIntyre his title chance against Roman Reigns in the past and the Scotsman has not forgotten it.

McIntyre could now go after both Rhodes and Uso as part of retribution. Or he could keep his rivalry with Kofi Kingston intact. During the course of the aforementioned segment, Kingston and his New Day mate, Xavier Woods, interrupted the superstar, leading to a fight between Kingston and McIntyre.

While he won the match, McIntyre’s win wasn’t clean as he managed to pin his opponent following a distraction from Ivar of The Viking Raiders. Later, he also left the ring as Ivar assaulted Kingston. This could lead to Kingston feuding with McIntyre in the future, thus keeping their storyline alive.

He could also start a new rivalry with The Miz. McIntyre didn’t behave as the typical guest as he headbutted the host of the show. This gives another possibility, where The Scottish Psychopath could lock horns with The Miz. The Awesome One has had a bevy of opponents this year, from Tommaso Ciampa to LA Knight.

The loss against Knight also made The Miz a talking point as he fought an invisible John Cena and delivered a Skull Crushing Finale to the 16-time world champion to get even. Now, a feud with McIntyre could prove to be entertaining.
