WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan also once shared about such a flavor of one of WWE’s iconic rivalries.

Hulk Hogan had to face the truth while apologizing to fellow WWE star

There are very few wrestling fans who don’t know about Hulk Hogan’s bitter past with fellow wrestler Ultimate Warrior. Professional jealousies, combined with some personal issues, tore them apart. But despite having initial disagreements, Hogan showed enough maturity and sincerity to make an honest apology to the late star during his final days.

The Ultimate Warrior and Hulkster came across each other during WrestleMania 30 weekend, days before the former took his final retirement from life. In the documentary, ‘Warrior The Ultimate Legend’, Hogan detailed their reconciliation moments.

Hulk Hogan Once Disappointed His Father With a “Humiliating Phone Call” Before Becoming a WWE Legend

The soothing conversations flowed like,

Hogan: ‘I am sorry for all the bad stuff that happened with you and stuff, man.

Warrior: It’s all good. Brother is all good.

Hogan: You know you’re right. That tape never should have been made.

Warrior: It’s hard for me because when you get disrespected like that, you know I’ve got kids and I’ve got family. It was just so wrong in so many ways.

Hogan: But I love you very much and I want you to know that.

Warrior: Thanks a lot, man. I love you and you were a part of my life.’

During a past interview, Hogan noted that they parted ways because of some legal complications after spending a good amount of time working closely with each other.

What happened between Hogan and Warrior?

Some events in pro wrestling history can be termed as one of a lifetime. Such an incident caught everyone’s attention when Hogan and Ultimate Warrior came together in the WWF roster back in the 90s. Being a phenomenal superstar of that era, Hogan quite obviously rose to the topmost position in the company.

It reportedly didn’t sit well with Vince McMahon, who was on a mission to replace Hogan with someone else who can bring the same ratings. Then he found The Ultimate Warrior as the perfect pick for this and took no time to fulfill his wish. However, some bad blood started to flow between the two wrestlers when the Warrior demanded equal pay and benefits as Hogan got.
