Therefore, he channeled his love for the game and is looking to make The XFL bigger than ever. Now, The Brahma Bull, being an XFL owner, didn’t shy away from drawing comparisons to the WWE and The Super Bowl.

On the opening day ceremony of the season, Johnson delivered a poignant speech to kick things off to a great start, which perfectly summed up his feelings for XFL.

Dwayne Johnson claims he got a bigger kick from his speech at XFL 2023 than he ever got from his time at WWE and when he appeared at the Super Bowl. The Rock is probably one of the few privileged people to get access to take the stage at such big events.

But this time, the 50-year-old got to deliver his speech directly to his players. Allowing them to soak in and appreciate the moment. The Rock wrote on his Instagram post “Verified XFL Game Day – Opening Ceremonies 🏈 🏟️ I’ve had the privilege of delivering LIVE hype speeches and pre game promos – from SUPER BOWLS to WWE.

These powerful words stuck in the minds of the players on the pitch. Everyone could feel the sheer energy emanating from the moment the game kicked off. Therefore, Johnson earned a huge round of applause for his sincere efforts as a fan of the game.
