Drew McIntyre is one of the most formidable stars in the current times. His sudden shift from face to heel has left everyone shocked. It all started when he expressed his frustrations with the faces of WWE. He stated that no one was there to help him when he needed it the most. However, he found solace in The Judgment Day and was seen partnering up with them for the 2023 Survivor Series. While the team-up has ended, he is still on the path of destruction and this might act as a catalyst in bringing back his old theme song, Broken Dreams.

Drew McIntyre’s theme song will finally fit

Fans have witnessed a heel turn for Drew McIntyre ahead of the 2023 Survivor Series. This has led to many iconic moments on television including the banter he shared with CM Punk recently. Fans have also noticed that McIntyre has changed drastically following the heel turn. A few months ago, he was a frustrated star who just wanted his voice to be heard. Now, he barely reports to anyone and looks like someone who is on a mission.

McIntyre’s current theme song on WWE Raw is Gallantry, also known as the Defining Moment. While the music is epic and celebrates the star’s Scottish lineage, fans over the years stated that they feel something is missing from it when it comes to his current run. On the other hand, his old theme song, Broken Dreams suits much better to the Scottish Psychopath‘s recent storyline.

The lyrics from his old theme song, “Out of time, So say goodbye, What is yours, Now is mine” holds more significance now as McIntyre has been eyeing championship titles of top star, Seth Rollins. Also the chorus, “And I dream broken dreams, I make them come true” highlights his unstoppable nature and his determination to work towards his dream.

Drew McIntyre’s current storyline is proof that WWE should bring back his old theme song. However, the Scottish star has stated that there are other reasons why he might bring it back soon.

Broken Dreams is more popular

The last time fans got to hear McIntyre’s old theme song was back in 2022 during the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event. Talking about the experience, he said, “I see the Broken Dreams comments. I love it myself, I reference it all the time. We had it at Clash at the Castle in the UK, and they seemed to know all the words.” He further added that when he brings back the song, he expects his fans to know the lyrics as he wants them to sing it along.

Apart from that, fans could agree with the fact that he should have brought back Broken Dreams way before. McIntyre posted a clip of his heated argument with Seth Rollins from the October 16, 2023 episode of WWE Raw on his social media. Along with the clip, he wrote the chorus of his old theme song. Will Drew McIntyre bring back his old theme song?

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
