The Tribal Chief is enjoying a great run as the WWE Universal Champion. Roman Reigns has really owned the character and made it his own. Many people believe this is the best work in his almost decade-long career.
Roman is currently gearing up for SummerSlam, for what could be his toughest test yet. However, he may have the confidence given a pretty strong SummerSlam record. SummerSlam is one of the bigger PPV’s WWE does throughout the year.

WWE has the best storylines, best matches, and best to present during SummerSlam. Roman notably had returned during SummerSlam last year after pulling out of WrestleMania due to Covid concerns.
He attacked the fiend and Braun Strauman after their match for the Universal title. It is also memorable for Roman as last year at the same event he turned heel.

Romans Record at SummerSlam through the Years
Roman reigns enjoy a very impressive record at the summer’s biggest party. He has picked up three wins, lost once and one match didn’t get to a result. His first match was against the Viper Randy Orton way back in 2014.

However, the match wasn’t decisive given a disqualification. He then was part of a fatal 4 way where although he didn’t win, neither was he pinned. What’s Next for the Head of The Table?
They slated Roman Reigns to face John Cena this Sunday. This is probably the biggest chance for him to solidify his position as Numero Uno of WWE. Roman Will be ready though given a slate of confident performances which has seen him stay at the top of the mountain.

This could be a very decisive match for the company as well with regard to their investments. John Cena with his movie deals will not be a regular, Roman on the other hand is doing the best work of his career.
