With Roman Reigns Missing Survivor Series 2023, Does Triple H Have Something Big Planned to Compensate?

Crown Jewel is just 4 days away but fans are already talking about the next big PPV, Survivor Series. Fans are gung-ho for the PLE next month as it has the traditional 5 on 5 tag team format which fans so dearly love. But it has been revealed that Roman Reigns will not be a part of the Survivor Series. And this apparently is Triple H’s creative decision.

If that’s the case, Crown Jewel will be Roman Reigns’ last title defense for the year 2023.

Roman Reigns’ last title defense was at SummerSlam against Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat match. Thus his title match against LA Knight on Saturday will be his first in almost 3 months. But post that, Reigns won’t be defending his title again this year.

That is the final decision made by the Chief Content Officer and Head Of Creative, Triple H. According to Xero News, Triple H doesn’t want Roman Reigns to ‘overshadow’ the things that are planned for that Survivor Series. Xero News reported, “Apparently Roman missing Survivor Series is an HHH decision as he doesn’t want the biggest star in wrestling to overshadow the plans for Survivor Series.”

There are already rumors that CM Punk might return to the WWE at Survivor Series. It must also be noted that the PPV is going to take place in Chicago which is Punk’s hometown. So CM Punk’s return might be the plan that Triple H doesn’t want Reigns to overshadow. But we will only have to wait and watch.

Also recently Punk finally responded to rumors of him appearing at Survivor Series.

Ever since his firing from AEW, fans have been waiting eagerly to see Punk’s next move. And fans are heavily speculating that he might make an appearance at Survivor Series.

Punk addressed those rumors in an interview with Dan Bernstein and Lawrence Holmes on the radio station 670 The Score. When asked about his return at Survivor Series, he played it pretty safe.

He said, “I think it’s sold out”, he then added, “I think tickets are hard to get”. Thus still leaving fans in limbo on whether he was going to return to the WWE or not. But what do you think is Triple H’s reason for omitting Roman Reigns from Survivor Series?
