It seems like another layer of drama added up to Cody Rhodes’ long-aimed WrestleMania fight plan against the Tribal Chief. The drama surprisingly seems to consist of Reigns’ faithful Jimmy Uso.

There has been a lot of back and forth regarding the most anticipated WrestleMania main event card in the WWE Universe. The Rock’s abrupt insertion into the title picture emerged as another setback for the American Nightmare. It led to an unbridled frustration and resentment of the fans with the nonstop- strong ‘We want Cody’ advocacy, and eventually, by the WrestleMania XL Kickoff, it waltzed back to Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns. The former AEW star made it more of an intriguing deal by dragging Jimmy Uso into the picture via his latest IG post.

Cody Rhodes already took one of the Samoan brothers (Jey Uso) into his side in the past. After Uso cut ties to The Bloodline, he formed a tag team alongside Rhodes and attained the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles dethroning Judgement Day at WWE Fastlane. Although their reign was short-lived, their on-point chemistry was a real treat to the WWE fans. Now, Jimmy Uso looks to be the new target of the American Nightmare who posted a photo of the 38-year-old with the caption, ‘Jim knows’. The photo shows Uso amongst the Cody Rhodes fans in a WWE arena in an enthusiastic post.

However, while we still can’t see where the storyline is moving toward, Jimmy Uso’s potential second betrayal of his Tribal Chief doesn’t sound impossible at all, and here’s why.

Jimmy Uso betraying Roman Reigns again doesn’t look like an unfeasible deal

At Night of Champions, Jimmy Uso super-kicked Roman Reigns in an abrupt segment during the main event, leading to their long-cooked breakup. However, this separation didn’t last long for the Samoan cousins.

During SummerSlam, he again rose to Reigns’ aid helping him to retain his Undisputed title against his twin, Jey Uso. That said, there is still some lingering tension between them. Reigns’ constant ego-driven attitude and air of mistrust toward Jimmy Uso are very likely to lead the Uce to hand him another blow. Also, The Tribal Chief’s decision to pass the torch to Solo Sikoa could work as a catalyst for it.

Secondly, it is very natural for Jimmy to think about rising to the main event status like his brother, surpassing all the insults and constant family drama.
