WWE has effortlessly blended fiction with reality after Johnson received heavy backlash for taking Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania spot.  And now, we have a blockbuster mania on our hands

However, with the Rock returning to help Roman Reigns, is there any possibility that John Cena might come to the aid of Cody Rhodes? Well, Cena has had his issues with the both Reigns and Johnson in the past. If the Oscars was any indication, they may cross paths real soon.

Everyone is aware of how intense the rivalry between the Brahma Bull and the Leader of the Cenation was and it had transcended wrestling at the time. So when Jimmy Kimmel was left in an extremely bizarre situation with the two WWE champions, he thought a fight might break out between the two. It all happened after John Cena and Kimmel left the stage after presenting the award for the Best Costume during which Cena appeared partially naked for a gag.

Kimmel stated, “I had a crazy moment with you last night. It was actually kind of weird. I was coming off the stage with a partially nude John Cena and we were going through this little alley and then there’s you and John Cena.” He further added, “I’m like I feel like I might be fighting, I might be wrestling here in a second, and I feel like you guys thought about it afterward”

Jokingly Kimmel said that the two stars missed out on an opportunity to promote WrestleMania at the Oscars. Johnson stated that fighting a half-naked Cena is not on his list and the two laughed it away.

John Cena on his way to WrestleMania XL?

A few days ago, John Cena was present at the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his movie, Ricky Stanicky. During the conversation, Fallon happened to ask Cena about a post made by him on his social media. The host stated that many people are speculating that it is a hint that Cena and Johnson will face off at WrestleMania XL.

While Cena initially stated that it is something that might not be possible any time soon, he further added that he is free on the WrestleMania weekend.  This ended up adding to the speculation that he might be present at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. However, he did not specify that he would like to go up against Johnson. But fans couldn’t help but read between the lines.
