If 2024 has taught the WWE one vital lesson, that will be to never mess with the WWE Universe. The promotion had to change their plans after the never-before-seen backlash towards Dwayne Johnson taking over Cody Rhodes’ spot at WrestleMania. This meant that the WWE was listening to their audience and didn’t want to irk them. However, when the company decided not to recognize Bayley, the torches were lit once more, and the backlash resumed.

WWE finally puts Bayley on the poster for WrestleMania XL after fans’ backlash

Bayley has had an exciting storyline so far. Her babyface turn is complete, developing from the cracks in Damage CTRL and being betrayed by the people she helped ascend to the top. She won the Women’s Royal Rumble this year, earning her a title shot at WrestleMania XL. The pro wrestling community loved the story but was surprised when she was snubbed on the poster for Mania. While the poster featured Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Iyo Sky, fans noticed a lack of Bayley despite challenging Sky for the title.
