WWE Legend Comments on Rumors of The Rock Taking Revenge from Triple H: “Definitely Upset About the Way That Things Have Worked Out”

The start of this year has not been perfect for the WWE COO, Triple H as many of his friends have been fired by WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

Since these firings, there have been rumors that Vince is erasing the legacy of Triple H. The way he made NXT a legit third brand of the company is worth applauding. However, people think that former WWE champion The Rock is also mixed with these recent firings.

People are believing that the behind-the-scenes friendship between The Rock and WWE President Nick Khan is what is affecting the authority of Triple H as the COO.

However, to this Cornette simply said that people just like to develop conspiracy theories for their amusements. The wrestling promoter further explained that just because Rock and his sisters are friends with Nick Khan, it doesn’t mean they are planning to sack Triple H.

The days of Triple H in WWE are numbered now?

Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, Drive Thru‘, the veteran wrestling historian had some bold statements to share about Triple H’s future in the company.

Cornette noted that in the wrestling business nothing is guaranteed and there have been many wrestlers who made their comeback to wrestling after vowing that they would never show up.

However, Cornette also confessed that HHH would not come back as a wrestler and get back in the ring full-time.

“‘Never say never’ in the wrestling business. But he’s not gonna come back as a wrestler.”

Cornette also said that these recent firings must’ve hurt Hunter so much because NXT was his project and vision, and now with everyone else fired, there is no point for him to walk back in.

Eventually, Cornette suggested that he should just relax and take his time because he has earned it.

“Triple H probably is definitely upset about the way that things have worked out with NXT, but I don’t know that would mean that he would want to jump back in and try to do something else again,” said Cornette.

It looks like ‘The Game’ is taking some time off because of his health situation. However, the WWE Universe wants HHH to come back into the mix and once again work his magic.
