The Undertaker was the most terrifying wrestler of all time. His entrance theme alone never failed to give goosebumps. For three decades, Mark Calaway was never seen breaking kayfabe, but off-character, he told an interesting story about a WWE superstar of the 90s who wanted to face him head-on.
This WWE monster once picked up 6’2 Arnold Schwarzenegger like a tiny kid. He was known for his great size, which was a result of gigantism caused by excess growth hormone. It also led to him being called “The Eighth Wonder of the World”. He also tried his luck in acting, debuting in a French boxing movie in 1967. This WWE legend was none other than André the Giant.

In an interview given to Ed Young’s YouTube channel, Undertaker revealed that André the Giant wanted to fight him. “He (Andre) was always the first guy in the locker room. But Andre never told him what the thing in his mind was. And soon he passed away.
Like Undertaker, Arnold Schwarzenegger has also shared his stories with André the Giant. Once he picked up Arnold out of a restaurant as he was trying to pay for dinner bill to which Andre responded in a booming voice, ‘NOOO… YOU MAKE ME VERRY ANGRY ARNOLD…’.

A memorable fight that never happened
During his active career under The Undertaker gimmick, Calaway won the WWE Championship four times, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, the Hardcore Championship once and the World Tag Team Championship six times.
He also advised younger wrestlers in the same interview saying, “Wrestling and sports entertainment is not about the moves. It’s being able to evoke emotions in one facet or another. You have to make people either love you or hate you.”
