WWE Reportedly Had Plans to Separate Dominik Mysterio From The Judgement Day Before Feuding Against Rey Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio is undoubtedly one of the best heels in the WWE right now. He debuted with his father as a baby face but fans seemed to like Dominik more competing against him as a heel. The moment Dominik joined forces with ‘The Judgement Day’, his career got a better direction.
Although the decision of starting the Mysterio family drama storyline was one of the best creative decisions of last year, this was never the original plan. Prior to this conclusion, Triple H had some other plans for Dominik Mysterio that could have seen him go in a completely different direction in his WWE career.

In the recent edition of the ‘Wrestling Observer Newsletter’, pro wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer revealed that before his feud against the father Rey Mysterio, Triple H had some other plans for Dominik Mysterio.
Meltzer mentioned that before the Mysterio family drama storyline, there was a ‘serious thought’ on sending Dominik Mysterio to the NXT brand. However, they dropped that idea and instead his alliance with ‘The Judgement Day’ began.

Currently, Dominik Mysterio is one of the best heels on the roster. WWE Universe loved the Mysterio family drama storyline. And it looks the saga isn’t over yet.
Triple H’s potential future plans for the Dominik Mysterio
Currently, ‘The Judgement Day’ seems to be focused on Bad Bunny. The rapper helped Rey Mysterio in his match against Dominik at WrestleMania 39. And during this week’s Monday Night Raw, the stable attacked him brutally on RAW.

Not only this, the Puerto Rican rapper is going to host the WWE PLE Backlash, next month. And it won’t be a surprise if Triple H books him against Dominik in a certain way.
Also, lately, Rey Mysterio has expressed his wish to compete against his son Dominik Mysterio in a traditional Lucha ‘Hair vs. Mask’ match. With all these possibilities, it would be interesting to see how Dominik’s career proceeds in WWE.
