WWE SmackDown Results: Aliyah Makes an Impressive Debut With Naomi and Sasha Banks’ Dream Team

WWE Survivor Series is around the corner once again. This is a unique event in which the superstars give it all in the ring for their respective brands. Tonight’s show of WWE SmackDown opened with a segment involving Sonya Deville introducing the members of the Women’s 5 on 5 Traditional Tag Team match for the Survivor Series PPV.
Sonya introduced Shayna Baszler, Shotzi Blackheart, Natalya and Aliyah. Later, she announced Sasha Banks as the captain of the team. But soon after that, chaos broke out as Naomi surprisingly made her entry into the ring.
Soon, a brawl broke out between all the superstars as they attacked each other. However, Sonya Deville got things in order and announced a six-woman tag team match to kick off WWE SmackDown. Sasha Banks, Aliyah, and Naomi took on the team of Natalya, Shotzi Blackheart, and Shayna Baszler.

Sasha Banks, Aliyah and Naomi defeated Natalya, Shotzi Blackheart and Shayna Baszler in the opening match of WWE SmackDown
Sasha Banks and Natalya kicked off proceeding for their teams. After matching each other with their respective moves, it was the turn for Shayna and Aliyah to take the center stage after getting tagged.
Aliyah looked all fired up for her first match on SmackDown. She hit Shayna with a dropkick but ultimately got dominated by the trio of Shayna, Natalya, and Shotzi. Natalya hit her with a suplex and vicious clothesline. Next, Shayna tried to put her in a Kirifuda Clutch. But Aliyah used her athleticism to roll out and tag Naomi.

Naomi immediately made an impact by hitting Baszler with dropkicks and a chop. But Natalya cleverly tagged herself in without Naomi being aware of it. She used it to her advantage and hit Naomi with a suplex from the apron to the outside. Natalya then followed it up with two suplexes inside the ring.

The trio of Shotzi, Shayna and Natalya looked in complete control. Shayna punished Naomi even more by stomping on Naomi’s elbow. But Naomi fought back and tried to tag Sasha and Aliyah after hitting Shayna with a kick to her face. But Natalya tried to prevent the tag, but Naomi tagged Aliyah with an O’Connor roll.
Towards the end of the match, Sasha took Baszler out with a Double Knee Attack from the apron. Next, Naomi got the better of Shotzi by hitting her with a Rear View. But in the ring, it was Natalya who looked likely to pick up the win for her team. But somehow Aliyah reversed it into a pinfall after Naomi banged Natalya’s face on the middle rope.

It looked like a happy ending for Aliyah in her very first match on Friday Night SmackDown. However, Aliyah’s happiness was short-lived after she got removed from the Friday Night SmackDown women’s team soon after the match.
