Ripley, however, has risen beyond the physical likeness and has stamped her authority as a dominant champion. Just a month ago, the current WWE Women’s World Champion squashed her opponent, Natalya, within a minute at Night of Champions, to keep her aura alive.

However, on the last day of June, the tables turned, and Ripley found herself on the side of a rare loss. The match, however, didn’t take place inside the ring. It was a war of words, and the Australian pro wrestler was knocked out clean by one of her WWE peers.

During a recent WWE Live Event in Liverpool, the UK, a video of Rhea Ripley went viral on the web. The 26-year-old was seen jokingly flirting with WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin. She even blew a kiss as Irvin was visibly taken aback by the exchange. Although she admitted liking it.

As soon as the video went viral, another WWE employee, Cathy Kelley, weighed in on the issue. The backstage interviewer also flirts with Irvin frequently and was ‘unhappy’ with the development. She responded by saying that she was unhappy to learn about her fate on the social media site.

He signed with the promotion in 2018 and started honing his skills in NXT, the company’s developmental territory. Irvin, on the other hand, became WWE’s ring announcer in 2021. She too had stints in NXT prior to that.

While there were rumors of them dating since 2020, they only made it official the following year. As mentioned above, the couple got engaged earlier this year. Ricochet has a son from a previous relationship. Similarly, Irvin is the mother of a girl from her past relationship.
