MVP is one of the WWE Superstars whose return to the business came as one of the biggest surprises of 2020. Now, he is heading RAW Underground with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin as the “Hurt Business”. MVP has now turned his attention towards Samoa Joe for his next fight.
During an interview with NewsWeek, MVP was asked if there was anyone else apart from Apollo, Cedric, or even Ricochet from the younger lot that he wants to work with.

One of the first names he takes is that of Aleister Black. According to MVP, Black has managed to impress both inside and outside the ring (in the locker room).
In fact, he believes that Aeister Black has the “old-school mentality emerging as a locker room leader in his own right and he’s gifted.”
MVP wants to fight Samoa Joe next
On the other hand, another name that MVP takes is that of Joe. Now, Joe was out of action due to a series of injuries, but kept making appearances. So, now MVP reveals that Samoa Joe is going to be back in action soon.
Therefore, he wants to face Joe in the ring. The two of them have been friends and have never actually been in the ring together. This is a good time for him to be booked against Samoa Joe.

“What I understand, ole Samoa Joe is gonna be back in action and over the years Samoa Joe and I have been great friends, but we’ve never ever faced each other. At this stage of my career, I think I feel a lot more confident facing him, knowing that I got Bobby and Shelton backing me up—but I also know that wouldn’t phase Joe in the least.”
Whether WWE puts MVP and Samoa Joe together for a match or not is not known yet. However, for fans it will be quite a treat to watch the two returning Superstars in the ring again.
