However, this was just the beginning. Both spent the longest time inside the ring, with Punk lasting until 49 minutes and Rollins being inside the ring for 48 minutes. Interestingly, Rollins was part of the dominant faction called ‘The Sheild’ and was surprisingly eliminated by his own pal Roman Reigns.

Punk, on the other hand, was eliminated through the wicked actions of Kane. Although he was eliminated before, the ‘Big Red Machine’ shockingly pulled Punk out from the top rope and chokeslammed him on the table. Shockingly after the event, Punk parted ways from the company and it took 10 years to see him back in the WWE. And since the friction between both wrestlers is crystal clear.

CM Punk’s honest confession on Rollins’ hatred

On CM Punk’s second appearance on Raw after his return, Seth Rollins bluntly uttered that he hates the latter. Recently, the Chicago native had an answer to it. While talking on Jackie Redmond’s NHL Show, Punk said, ‘‘We’re very similar. The difference is, I can talk about my career & not have to mention him. He can’t talk about his career without mentioning me. I understand where he’s coming from. You know, I understand.”

He further highlighted that he was gentle on Rollins and couldn’t secure an acknowledgment from him. He said “I think he’s always felt like he was the little brother. I’ve never tried to treat him that way. I’ve always tried to treat him like a peer but some people you just can’t reach. He hates me. He hates me, like Colorado Avalanche & Red Wings.”
