Ever since Dwayne Johnson was denied the main event match at WrestleMania 40 against his cousin, he has been taking shots at everyone responsible. In a turn of events, he even became an official member of The Bloodline just to go against the WWE management and Cody Rhodes. The WWE legend has shown no signs of stopping, as he recently uploaded a video, sharing a message with the world regarding the current scenario that he is involved with. He also blamed The American Nightmare for all the controversy because he decided to turn on his words.

Dwayne Johnson is upset with Cody Rhodes

The Rock took to his social media to upload a video in which he is talking to the camera, addressing the wrestling universe. He revisits the recent advancements in the WWE storyline including him. He also mentioned Cody Rhodes in the clip several times and even called him out for going back on his word.

Johnson talked to Rhodes after his day one appearance on Raw and tried to convince him by saying, “You have an opportunity to bring this business up to places it’s never been before. You can always, with all due respect, finish your story another time.” The former wrestler then recalled, “You agreed,” referring to when Rhodes had given up his spot for Johnson to take on Reigns at WrestleMania.

The Peoples’ Champion sounded hurt about the fact that Rhodes went back on his words after confirming that he would give up the main event for WrestleMania 40. Johnson also blames his ‘crybabies’ for pushing the decision even further and snatching away the biggest moment in WrestleMania history away from him. This happened merely a few hours before Friday Night SmackDown on 03/01, where Johnson is confirmed to appear, alongside Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline.

For now, fans are speculating that Johnson will turn on his cousins at WrestleMania 40 this year and then continue his own story after Reigns has lost the title at the PLE. But currently, he is not putting aside the feud that is currently ongoing within the WWE. A few days ago, he shed light on the current storyline he is involved in and praised the writing for getting everyone hooked. While doing so, he also called out Cody Rhodes, showing his allegiance to The Bloodline. During the most recent episode of SmackDown, Johnson also challenged Rhodes and Seth Rollins to a tag-team standoff against himself and Reigns.
