The one reason that WWE let Ronda Rousey skip NXT and immediately grab the women’s title at the start of her career was because of her fame. Even without the biggest sports entertainment company, Rousey was already a big star in the eyes of the American audience. From her UFC breakthrough, her charisma and drive have opened many doors for her.

One more door that’s opened recently is a project where she gets to work with many celebrities from multiple industries. One of these celebrities is none other than NFL legend Marshawn Lynch. So what is this project about?

Both Ronda Rousey and Marshawn Lynch arrived at the red carpet for the new reality TV series, Stars on Mars. In the pictures that she posted, we can clearly see that Rousey arrived at the event with her husband. Clad in a Martian-inspired dress with red and orange spread out, she also took pictures with her fellow ‘Martians’, as Rousey put it in her caption. She posed with her husband and then later clicked a photo with Lynch as well.

Along with Lynch and Rousey, there are also a bunch of sports persons involved in this show as well. Lance Armstrong, of cycling fame, Adam Rippon of figure skating, and Richard Sherman, another footballer are also a part of the show. Even TV personality Porsha Williams is in the show. Actors Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Tom Schwartz are also a part as well as Comedian Natasha Leggero and musician Tinashe.

Stars on Mars is a sci-fi reality TV show where the celebrity contestants simulate an experience of living on Mars. The contestants will be competing though, making the last one standing at the end, a ‘celebronaut’.

Even though WWE fans are loving their time hating Ronda Rousey, ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ just keeps getting more popular among the mainstream audience. Fans will get to see more of Rousey out of the ring, on Stars on Mars, premiering on June 5, 2023.
