Former NFL Punter and Wife Share a Traumatic Experience

Healing oneself is a huge part of life. It’s important to give one’s own mind and heart the time to heal from a traumatic experience. Right now, it’s the same healing time that Pat McAfee and his wife, Samantha McAfee, need.
With an emotional post on social media, Samantha McAfee explained the traumatic experience that Pat and she dealt with over the past few weeks.
Due to previous complications, The McAfees had to constantly monitor Samantha’s blood levels and others when she conceived. Unfortunately, she suffered a reported miscarriage, but that wasn’t the complete situation. Her pregnancy was in the tube, and it burst, causing internal bleeding.

She was taken for surgery, and the tube was removed. Tragically, her right Fallopian tube was removed the previous year as well. Therefore, Pat McAfee and Samantha McAfee cannot conceive a baby.
However, the couple remains hopeful. They understand what Samantha McAfee’s body has been through. Therefore, they want to heal and only when they are ready they will look into other options such as IVF.
Samantha McAfee ended her message by claiming that the couple will be parents, someday, somehow. And, there’s no doubt that when that time comes, they’ll be the best parents for their little one!

However, he knows his wife is a fighter. He expressed his love, appreciation, and gratitude for her. In fact, he revealed that he can’t wait for the day he gets to see his wife become a mother!

Undoubtedly, it’ll be awhile before The McAfees think about expanding their family. For now, they’ve found love and warmth in each other, and there’s nothing better than having your loved one right next to you as you heal from the tragic experiences of life.
