NFL Disrespects Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson With an Ignorant Caption on Social Media

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently made the headlines after he appeared during the Super Bowl LVI game. He took to the field prior to the game and gave electrifying introductions for the two teams. And the fans simply loved it.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a WWE legend and one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. This is a secret to none.

But interestingly, the NFL’s social media team found a unique way to introduce The Rock. In a video on the official NFL YouTube page, they referred to him as the “Guy from Fortnite” instead of mentioning his name.

Previously, it got confirmed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will play the character of The Foundation in Fortnite: Chapter 3. And that grabbed the headlines at that point in time.

Though the NFL’s social media team claimed his introduction to be The Most Electrifying Introduction in Super Bowl history, describing Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the “Guy from Fortnite” might not go down well with his huge fanbase.

The Rock’s introduction also made his fans nostalgic as they could relate his introduction to his electrifying WWE promos. The fans must have missed him and his promos for a long time.

It has been a long time since the WWE Universe got to see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on WWE television. With WrestleMania 38 coming up, we might see him making a special appearance in the AT & T Stadium.
