‘Playing the Old Trick’: Fans Have a Major Complaint After an Injured Seth Rollins Creates History in Saudi Arabia

A new champion was crowned in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia! After a great battle between two of the most athletic stars, we finally got a new World Heavyweight Champion after a 22-minute classic. Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins pinned AJ Styles to win the match, despite suffering problems with his knee. ‘The Visionary’ is ready to change the course of RAW as a world champion, he said earlier this month.

A few hours ago, the wrestling world wasn’t happy that WWE made Rollins vs Styles the opening match. However, they had a great match, but Rollins apparently injured his knee while doing a dive on ‘The Phenomenal One’ outside the ring.
It seems the company is fine with Rollins holding the World Title and appearing in the MCU movie Captain America: New World Order. It’s a great new beginning for ‘Monday Night Messiah” since 2023 began and the fans are happy for him and but weren’t convinced by his ‘injury’. Though it appeared he was injured at first, on a closer look it appears it may not be the case.

‘The Architect’ won a World Title after four years. He was the Universal Champion in 2019, which he lost against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt the same year. Fans react to Rollins winning the World Heavyweight title at Night of Champions and also trolled him about his knee ‘injury.’

The severity or reality of Rollins’ injury is not known yet. Fans will need to tune into RAW to see what happens next.

What comes next for The Visionary?
A few weeks ago, we saw Rollins filming a part for the 4th installment of Captain America movie. He is going to play a member of the Serpent Society in Captain America: New World Order. Many thought this would make him to take some break from WWE to film the movie.

Nevertheless, he shared in a post match interview about appearing on Monday Night RAW to address the WWE Universe as their new World Heavyweight Champion. Hence, we can assume things are already planned out between WWE and Rollins regarding his filming and wrestling.
