Tonight’s NXT was full of big names from WWE’s main roster and appearances. Speaking of big names, guess who has made their way to the WWE Performance Center today? WWE’s very own newest signee, Jade Cargill. She has brought tons of eyes to the Stamford-based promotion in just a matter of a few weeks.

Cargill is on NXT. Can this night get any better? It has only been 3 weeks since she said goodbye to Tony Khan and AEW and she is already giving a major boost to WWE TV ratings with her surprise appearance. Could she be making her debut tonight as well?

A backstage camera caught a huge white SUV pulling outside the WWE Performance Center, and Jade Cargill came out of the car. As Cargill dismounted from her car and proceeded to enter the WWE building, Shawn Michaels greeted her in front of the building’s main door. He welcomed her and escorted her to the building.

WWE did use the wisest move and brought the former AEW star on the day the company went to war with its rival company, AEW. Tonight’s NXT episode was crucial for WWE in terms of TV ratings, as the promotion went head-to-head with a special episode of AEW Dynamite.

WWE uses Cargill to tackle Dynamite issue

This week on Dynamite, Edge made his in-ring AEW debut. It was a big night that attracted a lot of eyes to the show. The Rated-R superstar recently jumped ship and made his appearance on AEW. So it was an enormous task for WWE to make sure not to let AEW subjugate them.

Therefore, the Stamford-based promotion lined tonight’s NXT with special appearances from many top stars in promotion like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and many more. WWE added Cargill to the list, as she has been the talk of the town lately.

Ever since she signed a deal with WWE, people have been keeping a close eye on her. Capitalizing on this, the sports entertainment giant pulled out a UNO reverse card on AEW and counteracted former WWE star Edge’s AEW in-ring debut with the former AEW star, Cargill’s surprise NXT appearance.
