Following this year’s AGM meeting, Vince McMahon and the WWE have definitely pulled up their socks to try and win the audience back. The latest edition of RAW has been one of the best for the company in terms of ratings.
For the first time since the April 6 edition of WWE RAW (post WrestleMania 36), the brand crossed the 2 million overall viewership mark. Here is the confirmation by journalist Bryan Alvarez.

WWE managed to cross the 2 million viewership mark even though they faced tough competition from the NBA playoff slate and the MLB regular-season slate.
The most viewed segment on Monday Night RAW was Rey and Dominik Mysterio vs Seth Rollins and Murphy in the main event. The least viewed was the brawl between Riddick Moss and Arturo Ruas on Raw Underground.

WWE ThunderDome played its part in the increase in viewership
It is clearly evident that the WWE ThunderDome has played a huge part in the ratings spiking up. Here is a clear comparison between this week’s RAW at the ThunderDome and last week’s RAW at the Performance Center.
Last week’s RAW drew a total viewership of 1.643 million viewers on the USA Network. This week, RAW drew a whopping 2.028 million viewers.

The latest edition of RAW was a post SummerSlam episode. It was also the first live episode after a few months. Notably, the Performance Center episodes were taped.

Last week, hour one drew 1.730 million viewers, while this week’s RAW drew 2.140 million viewers in the same time period. The second hour of last week’s RAW drew 1.697 million, while this week’s RAW drew 2.045 million.
This Week’s RAW viewership in the third hour went down a little to 1.900 million. However, it was still more than last week’s final hour figure of 1.502.
This edition of RAW defeated the last week’s edition even in the key 18-49 demographic. The Red Brand this week had an average of 0.66 in the key 18-49 demographic compared to last week’s 0.49.

SummerSlam has just ended, and WWE is now gearing up for Payback. The PPV will stream live this Sunday on the WWE Network. Leading up to Payback, it will be interesting to see the ratings earned by SmackDown this Friday Night on FOX.
