Royal Rumble has been the pinnacle of the wrestling tradition for three decades now. Hosting its 37th edition tonight from a 48,044 crowd-loaded Tropicana Field, the PLE set every wrestling fan’s soul on fire. The night moved on from the marquee 30-women match dominated by Bayley and Roman Reigns’ typical title defense in a fatal four-way out. Nevertheless, after the familiar flows of a Reigns match, fans were treated to a surprise twist in the card.

The epic Logan Paul vs Kevin Owens United States Championship match saw the latter walking out with the victory but not without facing the consequences for the same. He had to incur serious damage as KO turned furious.

Logan Paul managed to retain his U.S. Title following a tiff fight. Thanks go to a super competent referee who caught Kevin Owens red-handed using brass knuckles to score the advantage. It led to an obvious disquisition of Owens and a vicious attack on the winner followed.

With Logan Paul celebrating his feat, Owens hit him hard with a Stone Cold Stunner and then power-bombed him through the announce table. It left the Maverick bloodied after an intense bout.

We can most likely see a rematch between the grudge pair but can’t be sure of when and how it will happen.

Moving ahead, Paul certainly has more in his store to invest in the company down the line as he recently turned a full-timer.

Over the last few years, Logan Paul has worn many hats in his career. The social media sensation made a big career on YouTube. To add to it, The ‘Maverick’ also tried his hands at boxing, aced a business venture, and has even appeared in movies as well. With all these endeavors, the WWE universe burst him with frequent criticism of being a guest star in the division. The notion was true until Paul revealed a special deal with the Stamford-based company regarding his full-time transition. “The WWE renewed my contract, breaking news, and I figured if this is going to be a full-time job, maybe I stop treating this as a hobby,” Paul revealed on Instagram days before the Royal Rumble PLE.

After wearing the WWE boots during WrestleMania 2022 for the first time, Paul quickly earned respect in the pro wrestling town. From getting booked against Roman Reigns to winning a United States Championship, Paul’s made it to a pretty decent part-timer. And we can already assume something bigger is in the process as he stepped into his full-time schedule.
