Ever since coming back to WWE, Ronda Rousey has shown nothing but tenacity in the sport of wrestling. Her charisma and athletic skills have taken a considerable boost since her debut in 2018. Her matches with Charlotte Flair displayed her technical side of wrestling more than her usual MMA and Judo antics.

But one thing that’s keeping the WWE Universe falling in love with her like her first run is her mic skills or lack thereof.

While the plan for Rousey was to show up at Royal Rumble and turn heel like she left WrestleMania 35, plans changed due to fan anticipation. This led to a lackluster rivalry between the two.

The lack of heat between the two also led WWE to scrap the match from the main event of WrestleMania 38 Night 1. And the subsequent match at Backlash was decent but didn’t hold any candle to the parallel feud going on between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair.

But things have been turning around or showing signs of improving as Rousey’s feud with long-time friend Natalya turned out to show fan support. And Liv Morgan winning the belt made all the fans around the world jump in excitement. Now the former UFC Champion is set to have a rematch with Liv Morgan at the biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam.

In a backstage segment with the two opponents, Kayla Braxton started the conversation, but the Rowdy woman wanted to have a conversation with the champion.

She said, “Liv, I respect you. I like you and I don’t blame you. You seized a moment, saw an opportunity, and became champion. A great champion even, a breath of fresh air. But I am going to beat you at SummerSlam. Because let’s be honest, you’re Liv Morgan and I’m Ronda Rousey. I made my name in this business. When I beat you at SummerSlam, I expect you to shake my hand the same way I shook yours.”

While the fan favorite, Liv Morgan stood up for herself and spoke a few words about her eventual victory, Rousey shut her up by saying, “You know that’s why everyone loves you Liv. You’re more passionate than anyone in the locker room… Except me.”
