Ronda Rousey is having a decent title run since winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Liv Morgan. She has turned heel and has found a new alliance with Shayna Baszler on the blue brand.

Even though a change in her character and pairing with Baszler, the fans aren’t backing Rousey this time. The WWE Universe is yet to witness The Arm Collector’s special moment in this title run.

There is a lot of confusion over Ronda Rousey’s WWE run. The creative team is still figuring out what’s not working out for The Baddest Woman on the Planet to connect with the fans. However, Prowrestling.net’s Colin McGuire shared a report titled, “McGuire’s Mondays: WWE has a Ronda Rousey problem”

In the report, McGuire wrote, “She seems like low-hanging fruit anymore and to some extent, I don’t think it’d be unreasonable to feel a little bad for her, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what’s not working between Rousey, WWE and the WWE fanbase.”

McGuire added, “When she first came into the pro wrestling arena, she came with more fanfare than any other woman who’s ever stepped foot in a ring. She was an MMA star (and) She was a pop culture star. She was also a noted pro wrestling fan, which, yes, is important to us pro wrestling fans.”

The UFC Hall of Famer had a memorable WWE debut at Royal Rumble 2018. Moreover, her first-ever WWE match at WrestleMania 34 was eye-catching. She teamed with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

She left WWE in 2019 and returned earlier this year. There was a huge pop for her at this year’s Royal Rumble but slowly faded away. Although she has millions of fans rooting for her, everyone is waiting for one more eye-catching moment of ‘The Rowdy One’ in WWE.

Are we getting Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 39?

The fans were over the moon for Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35. Shockingly, WWE later added Charlotte Flair to the match, making it a triple threat.

However, the match was exciting but fans want to see a 1on1 match between Rousey and Lynch. Nevertheless, for WrestleMania 39 under Triple H’s creative control, they are planning The Man to go 1-on-1 with The Baddest Woman.

Ronda Rousey Has Made More Money With $5 Billion Worth WWE Than $10 Billion Worth UFC

As Dave Meltzer said in Wrestling Observer Radio, “But the whole thing is, is that, as best I can tell, the plan is for Ronda and Becky for the 2023 WrestleMania. So it’s not like that match isn’t happening. Of course, people can get hurt, people can… a million things can happen between now and 2023, but that’s basically the deal is that she was gonna come in for two WrestleManias.” (H/T WrestleTalk)

The fans were tweeting to WWE to fire the UFC legend. Rousey’s second run with the title isn’t appealing to the crowd. The company is still trying to figure what would work. However, it seems they would have to come up with something new for her to succeed in SmackDown now.
