In a press interaction from 2014, Rousey revealed that she received advice from popular Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone.

She was asked about her aspirations to be in the movies. Rousey replied, “ Actually one of the first times that I met with Stallone he was telling me that it’s one thing to be an actor it’s one thing to aspire to be a star, and if you’re aspiring to be an actor, you could be someone like amazing masterful actor like Philip Seymour Hoffman but he plays a different look with every single character that he had but then you have people like Al Pacino.”
