There are very few fighters who go on to leave an indelible mark on combat sports. And even fewer of them actually go on to dominate every ring that they enter. Be it the UFC’s octagon or WWE’s squared circle. The Baddest Woman On The Planet Ronda Rousey certainly falls under the latter category. 

With an accomplished MMA career in UFC under her belt. She has gone on to dominate the WWE roster with her dominating performances. Rousey has extended her resume beyond combat sports as well. She has been a part of successful movie projects such as The Expendables 3 and Furious 7.

All the while impressing the fans furthermore with her unending fountain of talents. Rousey has had advice from the best of the bests in her quest to succeed in the movie business. In a press interaction from 2014, Rousey revealed that she received advice from popular Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone. 

Ronda Rousey received useful advice from Stallone

She was asked about her aspirations to be in the movies. Rousey replied, “ Actually one of the first times that I met with Stallone he was telling me that it’s one thing to be an actor it’s one thing to aspire to be a star, and if you’re aspiring to be an actor, you could be someone like amazing masterful actor like Philip Seymour Hoffman but he plays a different look with every single character that he had but then you have people like Al Pacino.”

Rousey’s WWE journey so far

She certainly heeded the advice from Stallone as she bagged exciting roles in movies. She even starred with the action stalwart Stallone in Expendables 3. It was, however, WWE that became her second home after an accomplished career in the octagon.

Rowdy Ronda has replicated her MMA success in the wrestling world as well. She did not take much time in switching professions. Her matches with established WWE superstars such as Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch were well-received by the masses. Rousey also bagged gold along the way, as she is a 3-Time Women’s Champion. This includes her current reign as the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Ronda Rousey has shone in every field that she has been in. To reach the top, it’s essential that one heeds the advice of people who have been there and done it all.  The Baddest Woman On The Planet is a popular figure in combat sports.
