It’s no secret that Ronda Rousey is having a hard time convincing WWE fans. The fans haven’t brought into her character and vented their frustrations with the former UFC Champion on more than one occasion.

Despite this, WWE seems to be heavily invested in her and even turned her heel, hoping for a better fan response. But it hasn’t turned out well. And it looks like their another attempt at projecting Ronda Rousey as a big star hasn’t gone down well with the fans.

As we approach the end of the year, WWE came up with a Top 10 list of Ronda Rousey moments from 2022. It included her return at the Royal Rumble in January and her win over Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s title.

However, given her recent performances and a lack of top feuds throughout the year, the fans were less than thrilled to see the Rousey-specific Top 10 list. Many fans argued she didn’t even have that many top moments this year.

Fans not impressed by WWE’s Ronda Rousey list of best moments

Ronda Rousey garnered a good fan response on her Royal Rumble return which lasted till she won the SmackDown Women’s title a few months later. But since then her performances on screen haven’t impressed the fans.

They have been vocal about their feelings towards the Rowdy One. Underwhelming feuds on top average in-ring performances have been a big factor in the fans turning hostile against Rousey. They even started a trend for WWE to fire Ronda Rousey.

Even the Top 10 list of her moments doesn’t feature any top female stars opposite her apart from Charlotte Flair, which is also a concern for WWE. Her feuds with Liv Morgan and Shotzi were far from memorable and did little to change fan perception. The list included:

  1. SmackDown Women’s title win
  2. Wins the Women’s Royal Rumble match
  3. Attacks Adam Pearce
  4. Attacks Drew Gulak
  5. Beats Sonya Deville with one hand
  6. Her arrest
  7. Breaks Raquel Rodriguez’s arm
  8. Ruins Emma’s return
  9. Pays off her fine
  10. Returns at Royal Rumble

From the list, we can see that WWE had to really go deep in order to come up with the best moments of the year for one of their top stars. This tells a lot about how WWE has failed her with their booking.

Fans let WWE know what they think of them coming up with a Top 10 list for a star that is struggling to get over. A fan wrote, “The cheek of wwe. What a waste of a upload.” Another fan also wrote, “Y’all really scrambled to stretch this out. Be fr”

Here are the top reactions from fans rejecting WWE’s attempt to convince them that Rousey had a great year in the company.

Fans believed she didn’t have many good moments this year.

Although WWE may be trying to gloss over their poor booking of Rousey, the fact remains this has been one of the difficult years for the former RAW Women’s Champion in the promotion.

Her in-ring performance has suffered, and she was a part of a few botches. Apart from that, her heel character hasn’t really gone the way fans or the management would’ve thought.

Rodriguez entered the match at number four and took down Xia Li. She then defeated the fifth entrant, Liv Morgan, in a hard-fought contest. After that, she saw off the sixth competitor, Sonya Deville, to seemingly win the match.

But Ronda Rousey came out and announced there was one more opponent for her to face.
