Dwayne Johnson has aimed to make XFL the next major football league in the United States of America. We have seen him changing the structure of this league in order to make it different from NFL and more loved by the fans.

When XFL revealed the official logo, Sue Bird, co-founder of TOGETHXR, claimed the league has a similar logo as theirs. She posted the same on her Twitter tagging XFL and The Rock. Bird said, “Well doesn’t this looks familiar 🧐🥸 @XFL2023 @togethxr @TheRock”.

However, while Johnson is on the way to taking XFL to the next level, there seems to be a roadblock. TOGETHXR has filed a lawsuit against the football league XFL for the ‘X’ logo, which was revealed on 6th April 2022.

TMZ Sports confirmed the news of the lawsuit. As per the lawsuit, TOGETHXR, a media organization has claimed that XFL’s logo looks and feels “confusingly similar to TOGETHXR’s brand and logo.”

Dwayne Johnson hasn’t been sued individually but hasn’t commented on this lawsuit. However, while unveiling the logo, he stated, “X represents the INTERSECTION OF DREAMS & OPPORTUNITY. To all our XFL players, coaches, fans; You bring the dreams – we’ll bring the opportunity. Now LFG!”

Also, the media organization’s officials have claimed to contact XFL officials regarding the logo. However, TOGETHXR stated that XFL did not acknowledge it and hence, they filed a lawsuit against the football league.

What steps did Dwayne Johnson take to make XFL a major football league?

Dwayne Johnson purchased the league from his former boss Vince McMahon in August 2020. He brought XFL for $15 million alongside longtime business partner Dany Garcia. The league is set to resume in February 2023.

Johnson had a direct aim to make XFL a major league in the country. The officials of the league started the work to present the league very differently from the NFL, and with the help of heavy marketing. Also, The Rock opened the Super Bowl this year as a celebrity and XFL owner.
