The Mystery Behind Matt Sterling, MJF’s Attorney in AEW

On the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Mark Sterling fought against Jon Moxley in a heated match. MJF’s attorney was spotted by a lot of fans that recognized him. The doubts soon became clear, and you may have recognized Sterling form his appearance in WWE.

Mark Sterling had indeed made an appearance in WWE before and is yet another Superstar to make it to AEW after WWE. Although he works as the attorney of MJF, he got into the brawling aspect with Moxley in the ring.

Needless to say, Sterling stood no chance and was ultimately beaten. However, his performance was very commendable. 

Sterling put on a very good show for the viewers and made little to no mistakes. His match against Moxley got him a  lot of fame through social media. Matt Cardona was among the first to compliment him for his great performance. 

Mark Sterling made an appearance in WWE before AEW

“Smart” Mark Sterling may only have the role of a lawyer in AEW, but what you don’t know is that he has had a long wrestling career. 

Sterling made a single appearance in WWE with tag team partner Mitchell Lyons. The two faced the then Raw Tag Team Champions ‘The Viking Raiders’ and were absolutely demolished.

Now, Sterling has a much more prominent role as the attorney of MJF. His “Better Call Saul” like attitude has given him the perfect character.

AEW has established itself as the master of content creation. The promotion has the power to take any superstar and assign the perfect role to them, one which matches the character aura.

They seem to have absolutely nailed it with Orange Cassidy, Cody, Matt Cardona, Jon Moxley, and recently even Brodie Lee. Now, they have assigned a good role to Mark Sterling as well, who seems to enjoy doing some illegal stuff once in a while.
