Matt Hardy and Christian Cage have been at loggerheads in AEW for quite a few weeks now. Hardy is trying his best to belittle, and outsmart Christian, although he’s fallen short at all times. The feud between the two isn’t just on Dynamite, but has spilled onto social media as well. Thanks to Matt Hardy himself.
Matt Hardy takes another jibe at Christian Cage
‘Big Money‘ Matt Hardy took to Twitter recently to take another shot at his current AEW rival Christian Cage. He shared a clip from the 2005 Taboo Tuesday where the audience makes a deafening pop as Matt appears on the screen, while the pop wasn’t as loud for ‘Captain Charisma.’

Matt Hardy wrote he’s always been the more popular between him and Christian. Honestly, we all know who is and always has been more popular. However, if we go by the looks of the clip shared here, it’s a no-brainer Matt Hardy was super over at the time.

Hardy feels Christian Cage has been jealous of him for years. Why? Because apparently Hardy has made way more Money than Christian in the pro wrestling business. One thing is certain, ‘Big Money’ has only got money on his mind, and we can’t for Christian to bring him back to reality.
This rivalry between the former WWE Superstars didn’t really start off strong, but these little things on social media, and promos on Dynamite collectively do a great job in building more interest as the feud develops.

This week, Christian defeated Angelico from the Hardy Family Office in an exciting match to kick off AEW Dynamite. So far, Hardy has done his best to avoid the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Although it won’t be long before he gets caught in Christian’s killswitch!
