New Orleans Pelicans beat Charlotte Hornets 125-122 in an OT thriller on Saturday behind Anthony Davis’ monster stat-line of 46 points and 21 rebounds. Davis shot spectacularly well on his 24 birthday as he went 18/31 from the field and 4/5 from long-range.

Boogie and Davis have been struggling to play together as a team.
Another major factor in today’s win for Pelicans was the benching of DeMarcus Cousins early in the fourth quarter as he had five personal fouls. He ended the game with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

This win is a testament to the fact that DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis playing together is not working out for the Pelicans and they might have some restructuring to do. Both these big men have to learn to play together keeping in mind the larger team interest which is winning games.
