Both Tsitsipas and Djokovic are in some incredible form at the moment. While the World No.5 Tsitsipas defeated Alexander Zverev in the semis, Djokovic did the unthinkable and battled past Rafael Nadal in the semis of the French Open 2021.
Even after winning two sets against Zverev, Tsitsipas lost his momentum and looked vulnerable. He made some errors but managed to beat his opponent in five sets. On the other side, Djokovic lost the initial five games of the match against Nadal and looked in some real trouble. However, the World No.1 player bounced back and won three straight sets after losing the first one.

Novak Djokovic v Stefanos Tsitsipas: Head-to-Head
The two have faced each other on seven occasions so far and Djokovic currently leads the head-to-head battle at 5-2. On clay as well, Nole has won all the three battles that the two have been a part of. Interestingly, he has been victorious in their last four encounters.
It’ll be the second time when the two will cross their paths at the French Open. Last year, Djokovic defeated Tsitsipas in the semi-finals in a five-set marathon.
Djokovic v Tsitsipas: Prediction
Although Tsitsipas has defeated the likes of Medvedev and Zverev before reaching the finals, it’ll be Djokovic who will be starting the match as the favorite. He has even gained a big boost after defeating the ‘King of Clay’ in his own backyard. However, the last time Djokovic defeated Nadal at Roland Garros, he lost to Stan Wawrinka in the finals.
