“Doesn’t Mean That I Ain’t Going to be Hard to Beat”: Roger Federer’s Honest Admission Ahead of French Open 2021

The 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will be playing a Grand Slam after almost 17 months when he’ll step on the court at the French Open 2021.
The Swiss Maestro hasn’t played much tennis lately and is surely out of form at the moment. However, keeping his track record in mind, fans believe that he can surely make an impressive comeback.
In his pre-tournament press conference, Roger Federer appeared quite confident. He said that even though he is not at his best at the moment, his opponents must not take him lightly.

He believes that he has still got a lot of tennis left inside of him and can defeat quite a lot of players at the French Open 2021.

“I know my limitations at the moment. But that doesn’t mean that I ain’t going to be hard to beat,” said Federer in the pre-tournament press conference.
Federer is about to be 40 soon and in a situation like this, it is surely hard for him to compete with the players who are almost half his age. However, he is not ready to give up and instead, issued a stern warning to them ahead of Roland Garros 2021.

Former World No.1 Federer will begin his campaign at the French Open 2021 on May 31st, 2021, against Denis Istomin. Undoubtedly, he has got quite a tough draw at the French Open this year.

Even though his first round is comparatively easy, the Swiss Maestro will have to face Marin Cilic in the second round. The trouble becomes more if he manages to reach the quarters of the tournament, he’ll be up against Novak Djokovic.
