A month ago, the ATP Tour shared a video on their social media account highlighting how the ATP Tour has been a reality show for so long and that nothing like this actually exists in real life. Not only that, the 24-time Grand Slam champion played the role of Bert Critchley, who in turn mimicked Djokovic.

And now the awards of the reality show have been given out, and the Serbian tennis player won the best storyline award for winning 24 Grand Slam titles. On the other hand, there are other players who won awards, including Andy Murray for Best Actor, Andrey Rublev for Best Original Song, and Holger Rune for Best Supportive Actor.

When Bert Critchley talked about being Djokovic

A few months ago, after the release of the reality show version, Critchley opened up about becoming the biggest actor on earth. Along with that, he also highlighted how he kept the character of the Serbian tennis player alive on the professional tour.

He stated, “I’ve been part of this show for 16, 17 years, or ATP seasons, as we call them. Something that I’m really trying to evoke with this Novak character is not just the performance and the achievements, but a bit more of an essence. A bit more of personality.” Further, he also mentioned how the 24-time Grand Slam Champion’s character is not just about achievement but a lot more than that.
