Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis professional, is an outspoken person. He is very much in touch with his emotions and never shies away from revealing his take on matters. His nature has brought him severe denouncing multiple times and has painted him as arrogant in many people’s minds. However, even so, he didn’t evade his true self.
Kyrgios, like always, made a comment that might sting some people. He recently shared a stat and compared himself with the legends Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

Nick Kyrgios about having a record as dangerous as Nadal and Djokovic
Kyrgios took to Instagram to convey the message that in the coming season he would be a potential threat to Nadal and Djokovic’s runs. He shared a picture showing the profile of the players with this season’s highest win-to-loss ratio and wrote, “Don’t forget.”
Following the 21-time Grand Slam champion, Djokovic‘s 46-7 and the 2022 Australian Open and French Open champion Nadal‘s 39-8 score, Kyrgios’ 37-10 win-loss ratio shined at the third position.

The 27-year-old skipped the entire clay court season and only participated in Stuttgart Open. However, even though he competed in only one event, shushing the haters who raised a finger at his clay game, he made up to the semifinals.
Kyrgios performed a clean sweep at the Citi Open
The former World No 13 riding high on his Wimbledon finals runs entered the American swing. He first claimed the doubles title at the Atlanta Open and then reigned in the Citi Open. Kyrgios clinched both Singles and Doubles trophies.

He took down the 27-year-old Japanese No 1 Yoshihito Nishioka in straight sets of 6-4 6-3 to secure the singles title and alongside Jack Sock defeated the Croatian-American duo of Ivan Dodig Austin and Krajicek in doubles. Kyrgios and Sock claimed a 7-5 6-4 victory and with that, the former’s historic run got stamped.
