In November, Rafael Nadal will travel to a few South American nations as part of an exhibition tour. The Belo Horizonte game is a part of this tour. Previously, Nadal has already participated in the Brazil Open when it was held in Rio, Bahia, and Costa do Sauípe.

Nadal’s shocking exit from the US Open

Rafael Nadal’s attempt to win his fifth US Open title was unsuccessful after his surprise defeat to Frances Tiafoe in the fourth round. After Daniil Medvedev was defeated, Rafael Nadal had a chance to not only win the match but also take the No.1 spot, but fell short. However, it has been a considerably successful season for the legendary Spaniard, as he won the first two Grand Slam titles of the season. The 22-time Grand Slam champion also advanced to the semifinal of the Wimbledon Championships in 2022, but had to withdraw due to an injury. 

Frances Tiafoe accomplished by far the biggest victory of his career, taking a giant step toward realizing his huge potential. The American triumphed over Nadal for the first time in his career at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The 24-year-old will now play Andrey Rublev in his first Grand Slam quarterfinal. 

As far as the Spaniard’s rest of the season is concerned, he along with the big three will participate in this year’s Laver Cup, which will be held from September 23 to September 25 at the O2 in London.
