World No.30 Cameron Norrie recently emerged as the winner of the Los Cabos Open 2021. The British player didn’t drop a single set in the whole tournament and defeated Brandon Nakashima in the finals of the tournament. The final scoreline of the match was 6-2, 6-2. Interestingly, many tennis superstars congratulated him including Nick Kyrgios.
Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios recently withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics 2020. However, he was quick to react when Cameron Norrie won his first ATP title of the year.

“Well done Cameron Norrie.….. What did I tell you at Wimby. Keep Going,” tweeted an enthusiastic Kyrgios.
It was ambiguous what Kyrgios wanted to say in the tweet. However, one can make out that maybe he told Norrie something or gave him a piece of advice at the Wimbledon Championships 2021 that helped him succeed at the Los Cabos Open 2021.

Cameron Norrie equalizes Novak Djokovic in an incredible record this season
It was Norrie’s fourth final that he played in 2021. Before this, he ended up as the runner-up of the Estoril Open, Lyon Open, and the Queen’s Club Championships 2021. However, he didn’t lose hope and finally landed on the winning side at the Los Cabos Open 2021.
Intriguingly, Corrie now has the same number of wins as Novak Djokovic in 2021. Both the players have won 35 matches on the ATP tour this season and are third on the list.
