Earlier, Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey gave a powerful speech at the White House about gun violence in America. Incidentally, renowned news channel Fox News criticized the actor for the same, which prompted Andy Roddick to react on Twitter.

The former ATP world number 1 took to Twitter to express his displeasure about the news channel’s criticism of McConaughey.

It is worth noting that McConaughey and his wife came to the White House yesterday and talked about the recent Uvalde school incident, where 19 children lost their lives. According to the Texas-born actor, he talked to the families of all the victims and conveyed their message to the world through his speech.

Tennis stars react to the Uvalde school incident
A few weeks back, after the Uvalde school incident, many tennis players took to Twitter and expressed their feelings. 23-time Grand Slam winner, Serena Williams, felt heartbroken as she tweeted, “I have been truly heartbroken by these heinous shootings. I keep praying for the victims and people affected by these crimes. I also Pray for God’s Kingdom to come, but until then we know we are living in times that are indeed “hard to deal with”. Matt 6:10; 2 Timothy 3:1-5.”
