The Wimbledon Championships 2022 has seen some thrilling action over the last week. After the off-court controversy surrounding its ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes, the tournament began on an exciting note with some top tennis stars battling it out for glory. The tournament also marked the return of Serena Williams, playing her first singles match after a year. Additionally, her elder sister, Venus Williams, also returned to the tournament in mixed doubles.

Yesterday marked the legendary Wimbledon champions, including the likes of Roger Federer and Billie Jean King, return to the Centre Court for the centenary celebrations. Additionally, Hollywood superstar Tom Sturridge was also in attendance to witness the action on the grass courts at Wimbledon. He was involved in a cozy moment with Alexa Chung during one of the matches.

Tom Sturridge kisses Alexa Chung at Wimbledon

Tom Sturridge was accompanied by Alexa Chung at the Wimbledon Championships 2022. The two shared some kisses with Sturridge’s his ex-girlfriend Sienna Miller beside them. The latter was present with Boyfriend Oli Green to witness live action at Wimbledon.

Sturridge and Sienna Miller dated for a few years before ending their relationship in 2015. The two are also parents to their nine-year-old daughter, Marlowe. Despite their split, the stars have maintained a friendly relationship and are committed to raising their daughter together.

During a past interview, Sienna Miller admitted how the two share a healthy bond despite their split. She said, “We don’t live together, as has been reported recently, but we do half the time. Everybody will stay over or we’ll all go on holiday and that’s because we genuinely want to be around each other,” she told the outlet. “It’s great for our daughter that she has two parents who love each other and are friends. He’s definitely my best friend in the entire world.”

The Championships 2022 enters its second week

The grass-court Grand Slam tournament proceeded into its final week, with top tennis stars eying the illustrious title. In the men’s section, Novak Djokovic moved into the quarterfinals with a four-set victory over Tim van Rijthoven. Meanwhile, Nadal will play his fourth-round match today against Botic van de Zandschulp.

There were raining upsets in the women’s draw. World Number 1, Iga Swiatek was knocked out in the third round against Alize Cornet. Also exiting the singles event at Wimbledon were the likes of Coco Gauff and Anett Kontaveit.
